my name is Lorina I’m the founder of Ayoka Baby Care. I’m a pharmacist who has spent years speaking with parents who are worried, tired, and just trying to do the best for their children’s skin.

In my day today work, I’ve seen how overwhelming baby skincare can feel. Parents come in confused by ingredient names, unsure what’s actually safe, and frustrated after trying product after product that promises gentleness but delivers irritation instead. I kept thinking: there has to be a simpler, more honest way.

At the same time, many of my close friends were becoming new mums. I've watched them navigate product decision fatigue, eczema flare-ups, dryness, rashes, and sleepless nights; all while asking the same questions I heard at work: Is this safe? Is this too harsh? Why does everything have fragrance? They wanted products they could trust without needing a pharmacy degree to read the label.

Ayoka Baby Care was created at the intersection of those two worlds.

Every product is formulated with a pharmacist’s eye and an empathetic heart... the outcome is gentle, fragrance free, and intentionally simple products. I believe baby skincare should support the skin’s natural barrier, not overwhelm it. Natural where possible, science where necessary, and always respectful of delicate, developing skin.

Ayoka is a name from the Yoruba tribe it speaks to joy that is always around, carefully held and protected and that is exactly how I believe our babies should be cared for.
